Where did the Bailey the Boykin design originate from?

A dog truly is a mans best friend. There is just something about the bond between a dog and its owner. I might be a little biased, but I think Boykins might be one of the smartest breeds around! I've never met a dog with so much natural prey drive and pure intelligence. These dogs truly are something special but let's be honest, what dog owner isn't obsessed with their pup. I had never heard of the Boykin Spaniel breed until about three years ago. I was at a pheasant hunt and they had three retrieval dogs. Two of which were Chocolate Labs and the other being a Boykin. I was so obsessed by the amount of dedication packed into this small 30 pound dog! So much so my wife and I had to get one!

Bailey is now a little over a year and a half old. She plays such a huge role in our life. Welcoming her into our family has been the best thing we've done. Every Boykin owner I've ever met is just as in love with their dog as we are Bailey. So, we decided she deserved her own shirt. This design piece is a hand drawn piece of art from a digital image of Bailey. If I had one advice to future Boykin owners it's if your socks go missing, chances are your dog knows where they are and they are not able to give them back.
